I know I'm the worst at keeping up with an actual blog! But once I get back from Ireland next week I'm sure I'll have plenty to post and share. Xo!

Updates!

So so sorry I haven't updated much here - I'm so lazy with my camera and never bring it anywhere :/ I have a lot of photos from Italy but I've already uploaded them to Flickr and if you haven't seen them yet, the link is on my Tumblr page.

In other news, I start an internship at my dad's office on Tuesday. I'm not thrilled about working for the remainder of my free time at home, but it IS money and I desperately need it. The people my dad works with are also a lot of fun. My champagne taste is really starting to affect my beer budget, and since I am an adult I know my parents expect more of me than just hanging out with my friends and siblings all the time. After my internship is over I'm off to Ireland with my family for five days and I'm thrilled about the prospect - when I came home in March Ireland was our plan, but I had mono -.- Not enjoyable at all. After we get home from Ireland, my friend Devon is coming from the US for two weeks :) I'm so excited to see her! We're taking a trip to London for a few days and I can't wait to drink lots of cider and hit on attractive English males. Yes please. Expect many photos in the near future! :) Xo.

Sleepy + Hungry

This last week has been a good one. I've spent a lot of time with my mom since we're the only ones home all day and I've loved it. This past weekend I met up with my friends Laura and Dakota and it was a perfect summer day - we got Starbucks, talked about everything in our lives and laughed about everything. I also helped my friend Oriana find a prom dress and she ended up finding a beautiful cream lace dress at H&M that was perfect for her. That night Oriana and I went downtown to a bar called Cali for my friend Julia's 20th birthday. A lot of my old friends were there including my ex boyfriend who I've seen only now twice since we broke up 8 months ago. I thought it might be awkward, but I ended up having a really nice time with people that I missed a lot. This week I've spent a lot of time at my old school with friends of mine that are in younger grades, like Laura. She's my ex boyfriend's sister and easily my best friend. Yesterday we spent pretty much the entire school day together and I have missed her so much. The best friendships are those that can survive a year (or more, in others' cases) away from each other and still be the same when you're together again. Laura, Oriana and Julia are perfect examples of that, and I am so thankful to have these three people are in my life. Throughout the last year they were there for me when I needed them most, more than anyone else I know. Getting to spend a lot of time with them this weekend made me extremely happy and was a good preview for how excellent the rest of the summer will be!

Tiny Update!

Now that I know how to make my pictures bigger, I just have to find time I can spend just resizing them. Unfortunately it's 3 AM and I'm not really up to the task right now so it will have to wait till tomorrow. I'm having lunch with my parents at our favorite Italian place, the guy that owns it is so precious he speaks only Italian and German so it's hilarious attempting to communicate with him. I can't wait to eat so much pizza and drink a nice glass of red wine. I haven't been there in about a year and I'm so excited! Goodnight lovelies.
